THE SIWES OF THE PIONEER STUDENTS

The Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) is a programme organized to enable
students acquire experience in the practical view of their field of study, the experience acquired in this programme is very useful to the student in order to learn the applicability and
usefulness of their field of study to the outside world. Hezekiah University is very proud as the
pioneer students embarked on their six (6) months Industrial Training having met all
requirements and came back fully loaded with educative experiences and with a positive feeling
that they have been represented very well in the labour market. The day for the defense was
fixed, having watched the performance of the students, it was a prove that the students really
learnt a lot from the Industrial Training through their eloquent speeches.

SIWES REVIEW BY THE PIONEER STUDENTS

 The Industrial Training (IT) was a great experience for me in relative to the practical view of computer science and I am proud and glad to be one of the pioneer students that went for the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). UZOMA CLINTON, DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCES.

    The Student Industrial work experience was absolutely a wonderful experience for me. It gave me the opportunity to see the practical aspect of all I have been studying in school and how it is applicable in real life and I believe that SIWES is a programme that should be encouraged globally and in all departments. The SIWES programme is a programme that I was glad and happy that my department took part
in, and I am highly elated to say that I really learnt a lot in the six month industrial training (IT),
as a pioneer student of this great university it really improved my level of understanding.
